I totally forgot about the Kohl's shopping spree that Jason and I went on! Remember the 90% off sale I told you about? Well, we both walked out of there with a couple bags of clothes for only $37. My favorite item - Ralph Lauren flannel pajamas (for only $1.80!)...
Old Navy Update
So, I wasn't going to say anything, but since the Old Navy coupon deal is now dead, I would like to say that yes, I did get the $75 off $100 purchase coupon...in fact, two of them (I had my laptop and desktop running at the same time). Anyway, Jason and I FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER actually enjoyed clothes shopping! We're both not big on the malls and whatnot, but two hours together at Old Navy and we were BOTH skipping around smiling! In the end, Jason got 15 really nice button up shirts, 11 t-shirts, 4 pairs of jeans, a super nice sport coat, and some socks. I got 2 dresses, 5 shirts, a jacket, 3 pairs of pajama pants, 6 pair of underwear, and then we both picked out baby-to-be unisex outfits in the middle of the store...even the cashier was amazed!!!

CHEAP Meow Mix cat treats at Target
Target has an entire pet section of clearance items right now (beds, dishes, toys, bird seed, treats, food, etc.) The best deal I found was the Meow Mix cat treats for $0.83 - and I used th $0.75 coupon from the recent coupon insert and got them for $0.08 EACH!

Well, I already mentioned there is only going to be one coupon insert in Sunday's paper. But the good news is that there will be some pretty decent coupons for Huggies Pull Ups, Schick Razors and the new product Softsoap Ensembles. I expect a good sale on Schick razors before the coupon expires. Summer is coming and that usually means sales on razors. The Softsoap Ensembles will be on sale the week of 3/29 at CVS and after coupons and ECBs you should be able to get them free (I'll remind you that week). But have you seen these new Softsoap Ensembles? I think they are very nice looking with a stylish new container with a removable pump. You can change the look of your hand soap bottle by interchanging the base. There are four different types of bases and they look very nice. The soap is also very gentle and comes in three different scents: Fresh Essence, Creamy Cotton and Exotic Orchid. Be excited!

Allergy season is almost amongst us. I know because my dog has taken up her semi annual itching and all the pollen lingering on the ground.
Last September I took my pup to the vet because I thought she might have had an ear infection as that was the primary area she was itching. Turns out, he has allergies when the pollen decides to grace us with it's presence. However, instead of taking her to the vet twice a year for a cortisone shot, my vet gave me a simple solution. When allergy season strikes, give your dog half a Benadryl of a low dose. While it's always best to take your dog or animal to the vet first to get a proper diagnosis, always remember to ask your vet if there are any home remedies. Most places will give you an honest answer, and if they don't, it may be time to find a new vet.
Please note, this post is not to say don't take your animal to the vet. Of course, you should take your pet to the vet - at minimum to keep up with their shots to keep them healthy. But remember to ask questions like you would at your own visit. After all, it may help you and your pet with a better recovery.

I assumed round 3 would be better, but it definitely didn't start off that way. About 15 minutes after the coupons were reset, the site crashed and was not letting anyone on. A lot of people called it a night and went to bed. A few hours later, it was up and running again.
I am not going to tell you what kind of deals I have been getting with them, because, well, in all honesty, I'm REALLY lucky at this kind of stuff (getting World Series tickets, SuperBowl tickets, etc, winning little lottos, etc). So, until this promotion is over, I am holding my comments because A LOT of you have NOT yet received the $75 off $100 purchase coupons.

Outlet Malls
Outlet malls are an awesome way to save just as long as you don't get carried away! There are two near me (Lighthouse Mall in Michigan City, Indiana as well as the Chicago Outlet Mall in Aurora). Right now if you register here you can print out all sorts of unadvertised coupons.
