With the EasySaver booklets, the manufacturer pays for the rebates. The manufacturer then bills Walgreens and, in turn, Walgreens pays them. Basically, Walgreens is the middle man, so that's why they are getting rid of the EasySaver program. The bad news - Register Rewards may ALSO be phased out in August of this year.
